It is also the last Restaurant before the new Motorway and airport, so its an ideal place to stop in and have a delicious breakfast or lunch before leaving Galway, or your first port of call to recharge the batteries when arriving in the West. | Wild Nettle Café wins Bridgestone Award plaque |

The Wild Nettle Café in Briarhill Business Park- beside DID Electrical/ Curleys Furniture has been building its reputation as a high quality food café serving tasty, nutritious food for lunch for many years. This has now been officially recognised with an entry in John and Sally Mc Kenna’s Bridgestone Restaurant Guide for 2010. The plaque was unveiled during their Open Day on February 13th.
However, it is far more than a place to meet clients, friends and suppliers for lunch.
